Description0-1
The PCMLBE, the Parsed Corpus of Modern Lak, is a preliminary attempt at creating a corpus of syntactically annotated Lak texts. The annotation of the texts takes the historical English parsed texts, such as the PPCMBE, as a starting point, and attempts to follow its annotation guidelines as closely as possible. The vast majority of texts come from newspapers. The status of the annotation is preliminary. The corpus was created in 2013-2015.

Description0-1
The "Parsed Corpus of modern Lak," where the "LBE" suffix points to the iso-code of "Lak," was created in 2013. Work on the texts continued until 2015. The work done at that time was done on the basis of a dictionary with scarce part-of-speech annotation.
